WHAT IS DEHUMIDIFIED STORAGE?
We’ve invested in cutting-edge technology, to offer every client a no-compromise approach to car storage.
The only dehumidified storage facility of its kind in the county, and one of very few in the UK, we keep the relative humidity of our store within strict tolerances (45-60% RH) to ensure materials such as leathers, woods and plastics are neither too dry nor too moist.
In short, dehumidified storage keeps your investment piece, supercar or classic vehicle in pristine condition.
PRE-STORAGE PROCESS
Our duty of care begins before your vehicle enters our state-of-the-art facility. On arrival, we begin by photographing every angle and carrying out a thorough inspection to ensure we are on the same page. Our 24+ point checklist ensures everything from fluid levels and mileage to general condition which is then documented and relayed to you for complete peace of mind, each and every time your vehicle arrives on site. Vehicles and keys are tagged with a unique storage number, and placed under one of our breathable soft covers. To ensure your vehicle is ready for your next drive, cars may be subject to a small cleaning fee before being placed into our care.
YOUR CAR IN OUR CARE
We understand the importance of keeping a vehicle in prime condition throughout the year and the necessity to have it ready at a moment’s notice. That’s why we offer countless services beyond just storage. From trickle charging to organising servicing and restoration work. We take the hassle out of car in-storage ownership. We can manage all paperwork and provide in-house transport for your car so you don’t have to. We regularly monitor all cars in store, including tyre pressures and fluid levels, with owners informed of any irregularities.
NO LENGTHY CONTRACTS
We like to keep things simple here at Shed5. As far as contracts go for our dehumidified storage, all we ask is a minimum one-month contract. Our aim is to make storage as flexible as possible for you and your vehicle. And, just as we need a one-month minimum contract, to give notice on your storage space, we only need one month’s notice for you to vacate.
ALL-ACCESS
Unlike many facilities, with Shed5 clients can access their vehicles as many times as they like during storage. With just 24 hours' notice needed for collection or drop-off, we aim to make your vehicles as accessible as possible. We’ll even store your everyday vehicle while you take your other set of wheels out on the road; whether that’s for the day, a week or a month, or more! Clients can visit Shed5 Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am - midday. For all storage periods terms and conditions apply. Please contact us for details.
